Considered the most famous wine of the Maison Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne was born in 1876 to satisfy the demanding tastes of Tsar Alexander. It is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the prestigious region of the Montagne de Reims in the heart of the Champagne AOC, collected and selected by hand at full maturity. After the traditional winemaking process, the sparkling process takes place according to Method Champenoise, through fermentation in the bottle, with a refinement of six years on their Levites, and an additional 8 months in the bottle, following the disgorgement. The Cristal Louis Roederer, which bears the name of the material with which it was created the first bottle for the Tsar, is characterized by a bright straw yellow color with amber hues, and a fine and persistent. The nose opens with evident fruity scents of lemon and candied orange, with floral notes of lily and aromas of freshly roasted nuts. The palate is firm and round, pleasant smoothness and creaminess, with a fresh citrus finish. This bubble is perfect to accompany refined fish dishes, oysters, shellfish and caviar.
