Moët & Chandon Dom Pèrignon Vintage Jeroboam 2009

Grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
Alcohol: 12, 5
Contents: 3, 00 l
Dom Pérignon was a Benedictine monaco lived in the seventeenth century, in history, is the one who "invented" Champagne. The name of this prestigious Champagne, fù originally recorded by Eugène Mercier. The same fù sold to Moët & Chandon. A rigorous selection process in both the vineyard and the cellar ensures that only the best grapes go into this legendary wine. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are used in approximately the same proportions, without a variety that dominates the other. It presents well structured. Complex, round, and full-bodied. The nose hints of yellow fruit. It releases in the mouth aromas of almonds tostale. Since long finish. Perlage persistent and fine.

I can't imagine drinking this Dom Pérignon Vintage Jeroboam 2004 solo.
Fantastic colour. I loved the smell of baking. I noticed some good roughness in the mouth.
A sparkling for any occassion.

The legendary Moët & Chandon is celebrating 270 years as the world's most loved champagne. For over a quarter of a millennium, the renowned French winemaker has been sharing the magic of champagne across the globe. Every glass overflows with the House's hallmark values of history, generosity, savoir-faire, success, boldness and elegance—values still at the heart of its global appeal. Toward the end of the 18th century, Jean-Remy Moët, grandson of founder Claude Moët, became famous as the man who introduced champagne to the world. The important figures of the era, from the Marquise de Pompadour to Talleyrand to Napoleon quickly fell in love with the House's effervescent wine. Moët & Chandon was soon the icon of success and elegance that it remains to this day.

Dom Perignon Jeroboam 1999
Nice colour. Light aromas of yeast and bakery. All Moët & Chandon wines are quite balanced.
It matched the food.
I shared a few glasses of Dom Perignon Jeroboam with that person I always am happy to drink wine with.
