You will like to know that…

Dom Pérignon certainly doesn't need to be introduced. Its vintage champagnes are only produced in the best years, each with its own unique characteristics.

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2010, cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, respects the company's motto: "the fullness of harmony". On the nose as well as on the palate, the wine has notes of fresh fruit, enriched by notes of sweet bakery which give it elegance. It is an ideal champagne to accompany aperitifs, pâtés, foie gras, soft cheeses, shellfish, seafood and fish.

I drank it with my best friend.
A beautiful vivid colour. On the nose, yeast and bakery. Very light.
I took it on a barbecue.

Dom Pérignon was the first prestige cuvée, an idea proposed by Englishman Laurence Venn. The first vintage of Dom Pérignon was 1921 and was only released for sale in 1936. Dom Pérignon is a vintage champagne, meaning that it is only made in the best years, and all grapes used to make the wine were harvested in the same year. Many champagnes, by contrast, are non-vintage, which means that the champagne is made from grapes harvested in various years.
