Dom Pérignon only exists in vintage version and for this, only the best grapes are selected. The best. If the year's harvest isn't perfect, then no Dom Pérignon is produced. Each vintage is therefore special and as a result, every Dom Pérignon is a new discovery reflecting the uniqueness of that year in particular.
In the case of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009, this is a year in which maturity reaches its peak. This vintage closes what Moët & Chandon define as a prodigious decade, where the sun offered up intense and generous harvests. The synergy of nature along with supreme knowledge of the methods and the creative ambition of the Chef de Caves allow us to obtain more ripe, tasty grapes at their best, which "are a promise of energy and freshness in the future wine".
So, in short, this is a great vintage born of the experience of the winery master and the quality of the grapes of the 7 big crus of champagne.
