The Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy speaks of Dom Perignon Vintage 2004 as the perfect embodiment of the ideal of the House. It is an elegant champagne, elegant and mineral. Still young, if not a baby, with time it acquires depth, intensity and consistency. A jewel in the heart of Champagne.

Your rating for Dom Perignon Vintage 2004:Rate Dom Perignon Vintage 2004:

4.5/5

Fragrance: Similar to the taste, it is also the scent complex and deep. Tones of bread, nuts, coffee and caramel comes.

Taste: The taste that makes it really starts to question whether there really are drinking champagne or some other magical. The taste takes tons of apple, cinnamon, rich spices, coffee, chocolate, white chocolate, nougat, nut, tones of bread and even fudge. Somewhere in the back of a hint of lemon.

Points: 9. 3-9. 5 points out of 10.

Comment: Dom Perignon 04 is one of the best champagnes I've ever drunk. Just below Cristal 06th

It is not necessary to pair this Dom Perignon with food, on the contrary. The best company for Dom Perignon is a good conversation.
It had a dense colour at first sight. The final reminded me of bakery flavours. Extraordinary flavour with caramel hints.

Dom Pérignon was the first prestige cuvée, an idea proposed by Englishman Laurence Venn. The first vintage of Dom Pérignon was 1921 and was only released for sale in 1936. Dom Pérignon is a vintage champagne, meaning that it is only made in the best years, and all grapes used to make the wine were harvested in the same year. Many champagnes, by contrast, are non-vintage, which means that the champagne is made from grapes harvested in various years.
