Discover More About Our Products

Dom Perignon Vintage 1999 is the 69th vintage champagne from the brand, Moët & Chandon. Each Grand Vintage is a unique creation, representing an extraordinary year. And 1999 actually stood out. A wonderful spring frost was followed by an incredibly hot summer, which led to the earliest harvest in the history of Moët & Chandon.

Dom Perignon Vintage 1999 is an excellent French champagne, which doesn't only know how to win over experts like Falstaff or Jancis Robinson. This Dom Pérignon has also won gold at the Mundus Vini in 2012. Enthusiasts of sparkling wines should not miss out on this bottle. Furthermore, this one is one of the more accessible Dom Pérignons you can find on the market.

Description of Dom Perignon Vintage 1999

Dom Perignon Vintage 1999 (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Dom Pérignon 1999 is bright yellow
  • Nose: is a wine that breathes and comes alive in a spiral light and playful with hints of angelica, cone, cinnamon, cocoa, snuff
  • Taste: In the mouth the wine achieves a complex fullness: earthy notes, smoke and peat, highlighted by the vibrant warmth of peppery spice. The sensation of intensity develops and is mixed in a round deep heart, with a fruity, exotic maturity and a slight touch of anise. This feeling almost unsettling, is even more pronounced at the end, with spicy still present but discrete, in addition to burnished and iodinated

DEGREE OF ALCOHOL: 12%

CELLAR:Dom Pérignon

GRAPES: 55% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir

Jag älskade lukten av bageriet. En touch av sötma i överskott.
Jag anser att ett vin utan ytterligare.

Achei que tinha uma cor apagada. Emanava aromas a levedura.

Reviews of other vintages of Dom Perignon Vintage 199902006102010

4/5

- Nose: The immediate impression is of the mildness of the pure, airy, bright bouquet. A floral, fruity pastel tone then unfolds and quickly darkens into candied fruit, ripe hay and toasted notes, along with hints of licorice.
- Palate: The wine's opulence - contained and succulent, round at heart - reveals itself in the mouth. The envelope slides and stretches, and the wine becomes more complex and edgy, silkier than it is creamy. The whole eventually melts into an exquisite bitterness tinged with the briny taste of the sea
- The weather in 2006 was mixed, but warm and dry overall. While July was scorching hot, August was unusually cool and wet. The almost summery weather in September made the vintage possible by drying out the few patches of botrytis and maturing the grapes far more than usual. The harvest began on September 11 and lasted nearly four weeks.

My partner loves this Champagne.
Fantastic colour. Very yeasty and biscuity on the nose. It had a correct astringency.
I took this Champagne during a brunch.
