You will like to know that…

In the 1960s, prestigious harvests were the general trend. That is to say, high quality wines were sold at a very expensive price. Everyone did it, except for Bollinger. Because this House believes that "all its wines, thanks to the quality of its grapes and its traditional manufacturing techniques, are vintage!"How, then, do you create a wine that responds to the demand for exclusivity, without denying the House's values? Bollinger R.D. is the answer. An Extra-Brut champagne (extra dry); vintage, aged on lees for an infinitely long time, and offered for tasting right after its disgorgement. An unprecedented flavor, an obvious prestige: Bollinger R.D. It has no equivalent.

The final reminded me of bakery flavours. A very nice bodied wine.
In the end, this Bollinger R.D. Récemment Dégorgé is good with a little acidity really pleasant.

Golden color with subtle highlights. Nose: aromas of stewed ripe fruit, particularly quince, but also a discreet note of honey. These are followed by roasted notes and cocoa, which give way to flavours of star anise and nutmeg. Palate: full-bodied attack. Powerful but well-balanced, with persistent flavour. Mineral finish with touches of lemon revealing a pleasing bitterness.
