Description of Bollinger La Grande Année 1999
Bollinger La Grande Année 1999 (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir)
- View: Salmon
- Nose: Aromas of flower petals, rose water, and a trail of candy
- Taste: A nice palate, surprisingly light and elegant
GRAPES: 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay
PREPARATION: Make the first fermentation in oak barrels over 5 years, a very unusual procedure in Champagne and can increase the aromatic complexity of wine and its potential for aging without thereby incurring wood tannins and flavors.
Aging: Aged for a minimum of 6 years. After disgorgement, remains in the cellar for at least 3 months.
TEMPERATURE: 10 º C
Optimal Consumption: We recommend serving this wine at a temperature of 10 ° C, with seafood.
How to serve
Bollinger is a great wine, much more than a great champagne. So here it starts through the vineyards and the demand for the best with regard to the selection of the cru.More about the Winery
