Armand de Brignac is a French brand of champagne made by the Cattier family, who have owned vineyards since 1625. After more than 12 generations spent in crafting fine champagnes, the Cattier family decided to set aside reserve wines for a new champagne project. The result of that work can be seen in Armand de Brignac. Known locally as the "ace of spades" thanks to its logo, this exquisite champagne was first released to the market in 2006.
Only 18 people have a hand in the production of this champagne, from picking the grapes to applying the French pewter labels by hand. The flagship cuvée from the brand is its Armand de Brignac Brut Gold. In its gorgeous gold bottle with the hand-applied label, Armand de Brignac Brut Gold rich, fruity, and complex. This trio of vintages is made up of a trio of grapes, with 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier blending into a sublime whole.
Extraordinary and elegant, this champagne will help you live the "La vie en or," the golden life. The meticulous production process ensures that only the best of the best will make it into the final product. The perfect balance achieved from the three distinct harvests of three beautiful types of grapes results in a powerful blend showcasing a unique character. Try it on its own as an aperitif or pair it with light seafood or poultry dishes.

Armand de Brignac Brut Gold (Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir)
Armand de Brignac is marvelously complex and full-bodied, with a bouquet that is both fresh and lively. Its sumptuous, racy fruit character is perfectly integrated with the wine's subtle brioche accents. Its texture is deliciously creamy and the palate has great depth and impact with a long and silky finish. A superb and singular example of a Prestige Champagne.
Armand contains a multi-vintage blend of the following grapes at these proportions: 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Menuier.
2006 marks the unveiling of Armand de Brignac in the stunning gold bottle originally developed by Cattier for the André Courrèges fashion house. Cattier's gold bottle also made an appearance at Queen Elizabeth II of England's Golden Jubilee celebration. All labels for each bottle of Armand de Brignac are made of real pewter, polished and applied by hand. Each bottle is packaged in a black embroidered velvet bag, which completes a package that speaks to the quality of the Armand de Brignac Champagne and the care taken with each step of its realization.

Armand de Brignac Brut Gold
Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Champagne is complex and which wants to live up to the great vintages of the best Champagne houses. A very bling bling bottle that contains a good champagne certe but still has work to do to reach the height of the great vintages. . .

Aroma: Very light fragrance. Just noticeable.
Taste: Very light flavor of the light green apple, lilac, lemon and slight mineral background.
Comment: You really do not value for your money when you buy this champagne. It's a mystery to me that this champagne is so hot at uteklubbarna in Europe when the quality is not the equivalent of the price. An extremely light and bright champagne which lacks further complexity. Lättdruckenheten can of course possibly be an answer to my question. (For those of you who did not know it, it's Cattier which owns the brand.)

- Nose: The aromas of peach and red berries first appear, closely followed by crystallized citrus, orange blossoms, and a subtle hint of brioche.
- Mouth: Rich on the palate, with notes of exotic fruit, cherry, and nuances of lemon, vanilla, and honey.
VINEYARD: Armand de Brignac. With more than 250 years of experience in the art of winemaking, the Cattier family has been in charge of this vineyard from the beginning. 33 hectares of vines comprise this estate, located in Montagne de Reims, France. From the luxury bottle, to the exclusive harvesting and selection of the grapes and wines, the premise of this house is the production of powerful Champagne blends year after year.

AGEING: Each wine is aged for a year in new French oak barrels, and then blended together in a harmonic composition.

For Armand de Brignac Brut Gold , vintages of the years 2009, 2010, and 2012 were selected, obtaining a vibrant, fresh blend of Champagne, but also with a deep character and plenty of complexity.
PAIRING: Perfect as an aperitif, or to accompany soft meals, such as scallops, roasted quail, and freshwater fish.

Armand de Brignac Brut Gold Velvet Bag
It has a very nice colour. Good yeast aromas enhance a wine's bouquet. It was light but tasted like blackberries.
