TASTING NOTES OF Andre Clouet Grande Reserve Magnum:

  • View: Golden yellow, coppery gleams. Very thin continuous bubble.
  • Nose: light citrus notes and memories of red fruits.
  • Mouth: very fine bubbles and elegant, well-integrated acidity, creaminess and mouth weight. Long and persistent.

APPELLATION: Champagne.

GRAPES: 100% Pinot noir.

AGEING: 36 months. Crianza held in the cellars of the family at 10 meters deep, with disgorgement removed and manuals.

TEMPERATURE: 8-10 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12%

Andre Clouet Gran Reserve Blanc de Noirs Magnum

It would have been better with fish. I drank with work colleagues.
It has a dense colour. Aromas of yeast fermentation. I was surprised that this André Clouet had a slightly bitter end, I liked it.

the has a very shutdown color. Smells of yeast and bakery. This Champagne tasted like what it has to,  grapes.
It matched the food.
We order it in a supper with working colleagues.
