TASTING NOTES Mount Athos Agion Oros Vineyards 2011:
- View: dark red.
- Nose: ripe cherries, blueberries, herbs and spices, toasty aromas and a hint of pine cones.
- Mouth: Very nice, round, powerful and velvety. A maximum intensity wine, cherry liqueur, lavender, powerful and yet incredibly soft, almost creamy.
BODEGA: Mount Athos
GRAPES: Limnio, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
PAIRING: braised meats, duck, lamb, game or cheeses.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%

Red Bordeaux. The wine mainly smells like roses. It tasted good to me.
I'd like to try it with a carpaccio.
