Raised 100% in stainless steel, the aromas show some of the exotic fruit of the vintage with white peach notes. It is crisp and zesty, with lemon pith and grassy notes. The palate has a bite of acidity to counter the ripe fruit. Approachable now and will be enjoyable over the next few years.

The Droin family is amongst the oldest in Chablis, its members having been wine growers for nearly five centuries. Since the year of 1620, fourteen generations of vignerons have transmitted their "savoir-faire" down from father to son. Diverse records mention the Droin family over the centuries including on May the 6th 1866 when the Emperor Napoleon III visited Auxerre a certain Edme Jean Baptiste Droin presented the Emperor with some bottles of his wine. In 1999, their youngest son Benoit, representing the fourteenth generation, started at the Domain after having spent five years studying for the National Diploma of Oenology at Beaune and the University of Dijon. He is now chief winemaker in the new winery built at the foot of the Grand Cru vineyards.

The usual color, a little bit dark. Clearly noticeable aromas of white fruits. The softest from Chablis.
The Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis and cheese, good combination.
A Chablis is better to be discovered alone.

It has a nice colour. It has aromas of white flowers. Distinctive oxidation notes on the palate.
To take with semi firm cheeses.
I drank with my brothers.

We had it with lobster. A wine to drink with your family.
I thought that the Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin Chablis had a very light colour. On the nose, white fruits noticeable. It tasted like nothing.
