The Winery

La Chablisienne

Since 1923 at Chablis in Burgundy, the meticulous care of the vine-growers working together under the banner of La Chablisienne has given birth to wines whose magnificence is amplified by the passage of time. These wines, coming from a mosaic of "cimats", or vineyard plots, provide a pallet of emotions marked with a truly mineral touch.

4 /5

Its straw yellow colour was untypical, maybe it has to do with the vintage. This La Chablisienne has aromas of pear and banana. Very dense.
We took it with meat, but I think the wine would taste better with vegetables or fish.
I thought the La Chablisienne Chablis Grand Cru Chateau Grenouilles would be perfect for a romantic evening.
