Akriotou Orivatis Old Vine Savatiano Sterea Ellada 2019
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
- Nose: The bouquet offers a complex aroma of ripe peach, quince and creamy vanilla.
- Mouth: On the palate it is a dry wine with a perfectly balanced freshness and flavors of grapefruit, pepper, ginger and mint leading to a long finish and spicy.
APPELLATION: Central Greece.
VINEYARD: Akriotou.
GRAPES: Savatiano.
AGEING: The wine remains for 3 months on its lees.
PREPARATION: The grapes were destemmed, crushed and the juice is macerated cold in contact with the skin for 6 hours. Fermentation was carried out with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
WINE PAIRING: Perfect accompaniment to crab cakes.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 10 ° C
