Parxet Brut Nature 2015 (Macabeu, Pansa Blanca and Parellada)


  • View: Straw yellow with some green hues.
  • Nose: citrus and dried fruits, with a hint of green apple and freshly cut grass. The background is mineral.
  • Mouth: In the mouth is refreshing and unctuous step, making it easy to drink. An explosion of brutal flavors that stands out, with a very long and pleasant finish.



GRAPES: Macabeo, Parellada and Pensal Blanca.

AGEING: In stainless steel tanks and bottled.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand and selected. Then they destemmed, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks for about a few months, temperature regulated. It is clarifying and bottling is finished but before selling it should be left in the bottle one month more.

PAIRING: White meat, seafood, salads, rice, fresh cheeses, pastas.

Since 1920, Parxet has been producing cava in the Alella region north of Barcelona, home of the Pansa Blanca grape variety and the granite based Sauló soils. We work according to the traditional method of sparkling wine production, starting with selection of the vines and following the strictest respect for the natural product.

- View: Very pale with green reflections, fine bubbles and persistent tendency to form foam crown

Attractive and intense colour. Aromas of yeast fermentation. I noticed the fine perlage on the palate.
I had it with fish, but I didn't like the fish, and therefore the wine didn't taste right.
The best wine of  the family Parxet.
