Heretat Mestres

Heretat Mestres

A long winemaking tradition, with a family saga that dates back to 1312, leads Josep Mestres Manobens to elaborate in 1925 the first bottle of white wine, with a second fermentation, after a long period of aging in the cellar. The sparkling wine was presented at Christmas of 1928 with the name Cava Mestres. From this moment, the family has continued to make the Heretat Mestres cavas following the traditional method, and even today all the processes of preparation, removal, slaughter and other care are carried out manually, bottle by bottle, taking all the time necessary.

The Mestres Coquet has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections with a wonderful perlage. Very refined and nice integrated bubbles. Mestre This is a very elegant cava with aromatic richness. The nose hints of white fruit, apple, citrus and orange peel. In the mouth is the freshness of the fruit together with the notes of the notes of aging and maturity. It is a cava that fits easily at any time of the meal. Coquet is a blend of Macabeu (30%) xarel·lo (45%) Parellada (25%) coming from a vineyard of more than 50 years. The Mestres Coquet Brut Nature Gran Reserva Brut Nature is like one should be very dry with less than 1. 5 grams of residual sugar. Mestres is known for its long aging and the Coquet is a Gran Reserva more than 42 months of age

A reserve cava, with a fresh and fragrant maturity. Combines the aromatic delicacy of white fruit, flowers and fresh grass notes with a half bottle aging on lees and cork, which provides nuances of nuts, toast and pastries.
