Agustí Torelló Mata Brut Reserva 2016 (Chardonnay, Macabeo, Macabeu, Parellada and Xarel·lo)
- View: It is straw yellow with greenish reflections. With good training of rosaries and persistent and fine bubbles.
- Nose: fruity, with aromas of apple, mixed with hints of caramel and dried herbs background. With mentholated balsamic touches.
- Mouth: fresh, balanced, elegant and fruity, with notes of ripe apple and syrup. With delicate and long aftertaste.
VINEYARD: Bodega Agusti Torello Mata. It was Agusti Torello Mata who initiated this winery in 1993, after the expiry of a time in the world of cavas. In 1953 he opened the first laboratory analysis wines and in 1979 produced its first bottles of Kripta. His Agustí Torelló Mata Brut Reserva 2016 is one of the driest cava, made from grapes from vines more than 30 years, located in the region of Penedés.
GRAPES: 39% Macabeo, 38% and 23% Parellada Xarel·lo
AGEING: The aging process is 2 years in bottle before disgorging.
PREPARATION: The harvest is done manually and grapes are transported warehouse where the soft pressing and separation of the must from each strain separately, is performed for a period of 28 days, in stainless steel temperature controlled 16 ° C. After vinification ends, it is carried out the mixture of the three types of wine and bottled with yeasts for fermentation.
WINE PAIRING: Fish, rice fish, seafood cream, white meats, goat cheese, snacks and desserts.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 6-7ºC
