TASTING NOTES OF Agustí Torelló Mata Brut Reserva 2012:
- View: pale straw yellow, greenish reflections.
- Nose: hints of apple, caramel notes and a background of fresh herbs and balsamic menthol.
- Mouth: elegant and balanced, fruity and fresh, notes of ripe apple and syrup, carbonic very well integrated, with excellent sugar-acid balance. Aftertaste long and delicate.

GRAPES: 39% Macabeo, 23% Xarel.lo and 38% Parellada.
WINE PAIRING: appetizers, fish, creamed seafood, white meats, goat cheese and desserts.

Has a very cheerful colour. Reminds me of other sparkling wines, aromas of yeast. Quite light, but was ok for my taste.
It accompanied our desserts.

I noticed a dull colour. Mixed aromas of yeast and bakery. Licorice flavour.
It was not right with the meat.
