TASTING NOTES OF Agustí Torelló Mata Brut Reserva 2005:
It has a straw yellow with green and golden hues. Sparkling wine has fine bubbles slowly evolving, with a perfect formation of rosaries. On the nose the aroma is clean and very fruity, with hints of green apple and caramel, which melt on fresh herbs, smoky. End elegant, precise, fruity and subtle, pleasant with hints of apple and honey. Well trained with a long, delicate finish.
VINEYARD: Cavas Agusti Torello
STAY IN BARRELS: The first fermentation takes place in French oak barrels approximately 6 months. Second fermentation in the bottle. Minimum aging of 24 months in bottle.
GRAPES: 48% Macabeo, 25% Xarel.lo and 27% Parellada
CONSUME: We recommend serving 7th C. enhances the flavors of seafood in creamy sauces.

Has a very cheerful colour. Reminds me of other sparkling wines, aromas of yeast. Quite light, but was ok for my taste.
It accompanied our desserts.

It was not right with the meat.
