TASTING NOTES OF Conde de Haro Brut Vintage 2015:

View: bright greenish yellow.
Nose: fruity aromas, sour fruit, floral aromas, notes of aging, liqueur, vanilla and honey.
Mouth: sweet, fresh, well integrated acidity, full, fruity, spicy, easy to drink and persistent.

APPELLATION: Cava de La Rioja.

GRAPES: Viura (90%) and duck (10%).

AGEING: aged, in rhyme, a minimum of 14 months.

PAIRING: cod with honey, hors d'oeuvres, grilled razor.

TEMPERATURE: 6-8 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11.5%

The Winery

Bodegas Muga

Bodegas Muga is located in the historical Barrio de La Estación (railway station district) in Haro. The facilities (270,000 square foot) are two centuries old, built mainly of stone and oak. In fact, oak is paramount in the winery. There are 200 oak deposits as well as 14,000 barrels, made out of different types of oak ranging from French oak (Allier, Tronçais or Jupilles), American, Hungarian, Russian and even the small consignment of Spanish oak.

Vi fikk den på restaurant.
Den har en veldig fin farge. Minner om andre musserende, med aroma av gjær. I ganen merket man at den karakteristiske snerpende følelsen fra Bodegas Muga.

It had a deep colour at first sight. I loved the smell of baking.Astringent, rough taste.
It did not match with the dinner.
A good wine to enjoy with good friends.

I drank it at a bar in Cava.
It has a dense colour. Very yeasty and biscuity on the nose. The flavour of this makes me happy.
