Elaboration of Conde de Haro Brut Vintage 2010
Conde de Haro Brut Vintage 2010 (Malvasía and Viura)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Conde de Haro Brut 2010 displays bright yellow-green tones. The foam cup is formed in dense and persistent idea of giving structural compromise in the mouth. We observed inside the glass beads discovered a microscopic bubble rise freely to the surface.
- Nose: dominates the character of sour fruit and flowers. At a second level there own characters and fermentative transformation in bottle (honey, vanilla, liquor).
- Palate: The palate is sweet and fresh at the same time thanks to its high acidity. The combination of fruit / acid / lees causes a surprising feeling of fullness in the mouth that invites further tasting. In fruit aftertaste again this time with greater dominance of spices that leave a pleasant memory for a few seconds at the sampler
PRODUCER: Bodegas Muga
GRAPES: 90% Viura and 10% Malvasia.

The Winery
Bodegas Muga

Bodegas Muga is located in the historical Barrio de La Estación (railway station district) in Haro. The facilities (270,000 square foot) are two centuries old, built mainly of stone and oak. In fact, oak is paramount in the winery. There are 200 oak deposits as well as 14,000 barrels, made out of different types of oak ranging from French oak (Allier, Tronçais or Jupilles), American, Hungarian, Russian and even the small consignment of Spanish oak.
