Bodegas Muga

Bodegas Muga is located in the historical Barrio de La Estación (railway station district) in Haro. The facilities (270,000 square foot) are two centuries old, built mainly of stone and oak. In fact, oak is paramount in the winery. There are 200 oak deposits as well as 14,000 barrels, made out of different types of oak ranging from French oak (Allier, Tronçais or Jupilles), American, Hungarian, Russian and even the small consignment of Spanish oak.

Sorprende la complejidad aromática de este cava en el que encontramos al mismo tiempo aromas a frutas tropicales, cítricos que aportan frescura, juventud y al mismo tiempo que encontramos frutos mas maduros como el melocotón o el membrillo.
Tiene un ataque ligeramente dulce pasando a una acidez fresca. Sorprende la agradable sensación de su entrada en boca en la que la finura de sus burbujas no impiden apreciar la elegancia y la complejidad que el trabajo de la lías han hecho en su crianza. En el post gusto y potenciado por el carbónico volvemos a encontrar la paleta aromática que hemos encontrado en nariz. Es un cava que no deja indiferente y su persistencia es un signo inequívoco de su gran calidad.
