Elaboration of Château La Vieille Cure 2006

Château La Vieille Cure 2006 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)

Blackberry, cherry and raspberry fruit on the nose, with a little liquorice. Rather reserved, lean to moderate texture on the palate, with a nice, gentle, midpalate flesh. Clean, with some substance and midpalate grip; there is quite a bit of extract here, actually. Quite tannic on the finish. Good effort though.

Château la Vieille Cure pairs very well with a spicy fish . I liked sharing this wine with someone special.
Cherry red, clean colour. Nice cherry smell. It tasted good to me.

This 2013 was the recommended by a friends of us.
Nice and pretty colour. Delicious aromas of licorice and mint. Light on the palate.
It pairs good with a strong flavoured fish.

Cherry, low layer. It has currant scents. A very powerful red.
We had it between starters and appetizers.
I've purchased it on this website.
Too commercial for my taste.
