APPELLATION: California
VINEYARD: Hartford Family Winery was founded in 1993 by Don and Jennifer Hartford, both passionate about oenology. They have unique vineyards in the Russian River Valley, 24 km from the Pacific coast. The conditions under which its wines are produced are not the easiest, and it is precisely through this evil that their products are wines of character. This is a real success.
GRAPES: Pinot Noir
AGEING: Only French oak barrels of fine grain are used to age their wines all. The percentage of new French oak typically range from 30% to 100%.
PREPARATION: The domain adopts traditional winemaking techniques to produce fine wines expressing terroir. Grape harvesting is done manually. Most wines are not filtered, allowing to preserve its authenticity.
WINE PAIRING: It goes perfectly with pasta, meat, risotto or a cheese board.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL: 14.5%
