Bogle Vineyards Merlot 2017 (Merlot)

TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: Aroma coffee with notes of wood and red fruits like ripe plums.
  • Mouth: Full bodied and silky texture, has notes of coffee and vanilla, also has touches and toasted spice thanks to the maturing in barrels.

GRAPES: Merlot.

AGEING: Madura for 12 months in American oak barrels.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand and maceration and fermentation processes are carried out in barrels of American oak traditional way to preserve the flavor of the variety Merlot and organoleptic characteristics.

This California (region) enlightened my brunch hour with friends. of Bogle Vineyards is a good friend maker.
I especially liked the colour. It had a wonderful aroma of cherry and red fruit. Outstanding.
