Louis Jadot Couvent Des Jacobins Blanc 2018 (Chardonnay)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: A dress and crystal clear limpid gold, adorned with green flashes.
- Nose: The nose is a fruity wine with aromas and woody pulp of fresh fruit, fragrant flowers.
- Mouth: On the palate shows great elegance, a sweet, harmonious mouth and a beautiful glow.
APPELLATION: Burgundy.
VINEYARD: Louis Jadot.
GRAPES: 100% Chardonnay.
AGEING: Aged 50% in vats and 50% in oak barrels for 8 months.
PREPARATION: The harvest is manual in small box to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Then the grapes are gently pressed and then fermented in barrels of our cooperage, one third of which are new.
WINE PAIRING: To enjoy when accompanied by a grilled fish.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 11-13 ° C
ALCOHOL: 12%

Louis Jadot
The Maison Louis Jadot is a family-run winery that has been producing and marketing wines in Burgundy since 1859. It controls more than 250 hectares and produces only wines with AOC-status (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée).

Great to vegetables and grilled meat.
I drank it alone.
I don't know if the vintage was old, because it had a dark yellow colour. The aromas of white flowers dominates the rest. Caramel flavour.

For the color that a Burgundy usually has, I thought it had an intense yellow tone. On the nose, white fruits noticeable. It has a good acidity.
