Lisini Brunello di Montalcino 2014

Bright medium red. Spicy, floral perfumes of red cherry, red currant, licorice and minty herbs. At once juicy and lively, but also dense and energetic; bright, harmonious acidity nicely frames the cool flavors of red currant, spicy plum and minty herbs. This refined Brunello boasts outstanding tension, midpalate energy and focus. Finishes with polished tannins and noteworthy floral lift.

This Lisini Brunello di Montalcino with its raspberry aromas might be considered as delicacy. Powerful taste of wild berries.
You have to open a few minutes before drinking it.

Considered one of the major expressions of Italian enology, Brunello di Montalcino is produced exclusively from grapes of the homonymous vine, which represents a variety of Sangiovese Grosso. The Brunello di Montalcino of the Azienda Agricola Lisini, is distinguished by its truly superior characteristics obtained through a continuous care of the vines, cultivated with traditional methods and excluding any practice of forcing, careful selection and thinning of the grapes while growing and a accurate selection of the grapes during the harvest.

A good red to finish the meal. I drank it with my best friend.
Red with violet reflections. It has a strong smell of caramel. Unfortunately the wine tasted and smelled foul, like cork.

Pretty cherry colour, medium opacity. Scent of violets and liquorice. A background of toast in the mouth .
I'd like to try it with a carpaccio.
Great for romantic evenings.
