After fermentation at controlled temperature, Montalcinodella Brunello Tenuta Il Poggione matures in French oak barrels for 36 months. Medium dark colour of ripe cherries. Good aromas of ripe fruit. Toasted notes were evident.
I enjoyed the fish, I enjoyed the wine, but next time separately.
