Herdade do Esporão Magistra Brandy 75cl (Bobal)
TASTING NOTES OF Herdade do Esporão Magistra Brandy 75cl:
- Color: topaz, brown tones.
- Smell: complex and fruity (dried fruits and nuts) aroma, with nice spicy vanilla oak, slightly floral (dried flowers, cistus gum).
- Mouth: light, complex and developed, soft and pleasantly creamy with fruity and spicy notes persistent body.
PRODUCER: Herdade do Esporão.
DETAILS OF PREPARATION: vinification traditional natural fermentation controlled temperature, without addition of sulfur dioxide. Distilled immediately after completion of alcoholic fermentation in Quinta do Rol in a continuous distillation column wood (18 inch diameter) with 21 plates. Production schnapps average 70º alcohol followed by aging in new oak barrels (national oak, French oak, chestnut) for several months, minimum age of 15 years continues in underground cellars in new barrels and used with volumes of between 250 to 600 liters . final mix achieved by using brandy spirits of different ages.
