The Inama winery contains the history and spirit of a man ahead of his time and with great insights, Giuseppe Inama, who began to invest in vineyards on Mount Foscarino since the fifties, which he considered the most prestigious hill in the Soave area. At the time the concept of Classic was not very clear and, after years of hard work, thanks to the interpretations of Giuseppe, the volcanic territory of Mount Foscarino has now imposed itself as the cradle of some of the best Italian white wines.

Giuseppe Inama started producing the first bottles only in 1991: it was Sauvignon, a new variety for the area. Thus was born the Vulcaia Sauvignon, a wine that well reflected the will of Joseph to make known the territory of Soave, not through its more typical wine, but thanks to an interpretation of great prestige of Sauvignon. Giuseppe disappeared a few years ago and the Inama winery passed to his son Stefano, who is confirming himself as one of the best producers in the Italian wine scene. His choices have very often represented a breakdown of schemes with respect to the past, but have contributed greatly to the progress of national enology.The purchase of new vineyards on the Berici Hills allowed him to produce great red wines, able to stand at the same level as whites.

The wines of the Inama winery perfectly reflect the intentions of the founder: to experiment and innovate, giving life to great wines that enhance the whole Soave territory. This is how intense and territorial wines are born, both white and red, the result of careful and scrupulous oenological practices and of a rich and expressive volcanic territory, capable of exciting and everything to drink.
