With the help of the vintner's 3 sons, Carlos, Henar and Antonio, the dream of this new project became reality in 2001: The bodega in La Horra. In a place, that saw the sons grow up and one of the most privileged places of the Ribera del Duero.
Supported by a young but experienced Tech team, Alicia Vitores and Óscar Rodríguez built a wine cellar with the latest technological equipment and the best mediums to produce outstanding wines: An automatised gravity-system for the vinification, spoiling the wines and ensuring fermentation at controlled temperatures to obtain stability in colour, aroma and taste.
The first result, Tinto Figuero 2001, 4 months in barriques, set the bar high.
In the subterranean crianza cellar there are 1000 barrels surrounded by maximum silence and a stable temperature of 12-15ºC throughout the whole year.
