Tenuta Argentiera is a magnificent patch of Maremma land that combines countryside and sea, suspended between woods and Mediterranean scrubland.
We are in the heart of the small but prestigious Doc Bolgheri, a terroir dedicated to the great red wines, in the same area of the famous Super Tuscan.
The name Argentiera bears an evocative meaning: it comes from the silver mines that once were in this area of the Alta Maremma, also rich in natural springs and healing waters.
The Estate is the closest to the Tyrrhenian coast and at the same time that reaches the highest altitude of the whole Bolgheri territory, reaching 200 meters above sea level: this duplicity makes it different from all the others and manages to create a microclimate with characteristics only.
