The name "Roots" (roots) is explained by the fact that the vineyard was planted personally by Fréderic grandfather about 45 years ago, in the lieu-dit "champs Colesse".

The 2-hectare vineyard is located on a clay and stony ground.

Here it is produced Cabernet Franc grapes, with an average yield of 40 hl / ha. In the cellar, it performs the usual selection of grapes and cold maceration before the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel.
The malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, as well as the refinement that follows for another 10 months in démi muids not new French oak.
