Description of Jefferson's Reserve

Jefferson's Reserve

  • Color: Jefferson's Reserve has a rich walnut coloured
  • Smell: Very crisp and fresh on the nose, lots of creamy vanilla and warm, spicy flavour. Notes of oak, caramel, hints of smoke.
  • Mouth: Smooth, giving heat and flexible. Notes of sweet vanilla, spices, candy, soft fruit, a touch of orange zest, spices and honey.

DETAILS OF DEVELOPMENT: A limited release, small batch artisan bourbon. This is very unusual, and offers a distinctive background flavour profile, thanks to their 6-10 year aging in charred barrels very slightly (Number 1 char).

- Limited stock.
- Like the accomplished third President of the US, this bourbon is complex, elegant and sophisticated.
- Jefferson's Reserve is allowed to age slowly and reach maturity naturally. The whisky has a medium-weight, velvety textured body and a dry, robust palate, one that quickly fills the mouth with the engaging flavours of roasted corn, caramel, toffee and oak.
- Nose: Peaches, vanilla, raisins, butterscotch
- Taste: An elegant combination of flavours, a very thick body, almost syrupy sweetness, suggesting vanilla and caramel, yet very fruity with hints of dates, blackberry and orange.
- Finish: The finish is long, warm and smooth like a fine cognac.
