And water is pure and devoid of limestone of the Salt River that bourbon has its soft, rich and especially sweet taste. This is a single barrel whose selection is done carefully by Master Distiller Jim Rutledge. The aging process lasts eight years and is carried out in new oak barrels and carbonized. After bottling, the drink is dated and numbered by hand. With its lush oak forests, vast fields of corn, barley and wheat, but also their sources of pure water, Kentucky is the place to throw an exception whiskey. This is why Four Roses Single Barrel won the bronze medal in the young category of whiskey in the International Competition in 2011.
