2018 - Non contractual picture. Lighter than Clairet, this soft pink, floral and anise plays on the freshness and elegance. Pale pink, bright. The fine nose evokes citrus with anise notes. With aeration the aromas of flowers are intense.
On the palate, this rosé is rich and large, with that touch of freshness which brings balance and elegance.
A rosé, very fresh, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, which expresses slightly spicy floral notes. Domaine Château Thieuley: It was in 1950 that the history of the Family Vineyards Courselle when Andre Courselle Thieuley buys the castle and began to create there a winery. In 1972, his son Francis Courselle, a young agricultural engineer and professor of viticulture, decided to accelerate the development of the vineyard. In 30 years, the cultivated area increased from 4 to 80 hectares, currently on three areas: Château Thieuley, Clos Saint Anne and Saint Genesius Castle. Sylvie and Marie Courselle Francis girls, inherited the family passion. Both engineers and oenologists, they gradually regain control over the destinies of Thieuley. Thanks to the quality of work done in the vineyard and in the winery by initially by Francis Courselle and now by his daughter Mary Castle Thieuley is for almost 30 years one of the jewels of the Bordeaux appellation.
The awards received in various competitions every year and quotations in the guides attest conclusively.

Had an intense smell of fresh fruit. It had smokey aromas.
Next time I'll try it again.
