TASTING NOTES:
- View: Château Lestrille Capmartin Bordeaux Blanc 2016 has a bright yellowish green appearance.
- Nose: Smooth citrus scent greets the nose, with a slightly smoked oak undertone.
- Mouth: Rich and full-bodied on the palate. Strong apricot mingles nicely with spicy wood. The finish is long and elegant, marked by notes of green apple pie.
APPELLATION: Bordeaux
VINEYARD: Chateau Lestrille. Located in the Bordeaux region of France, this vineyard comprises a total of 95 hectares dedicated to the production of high-quality grapes. The vineyard uses a sustainable approach, utilizing minimal intervention and reducing the amount of chemicals, thus maximizing the flavour and character of the grapes.
GRAPES: 55% Sauvignon Gris, 39% Semillon, 6% Sauvignon Blanc.
AGEING: Six months on the lees in new oak barrels prior to bottling.
PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested at ripe conditions and manually selected. The skin is macerated for 8 hours, followed by a process of cold stabilization. Fermentation takes place in new oak barrels, where the wine is left on its lees for maturing before being bottled for commercialization. The result is a classy and elegant wine, rich and creamy, and that leaves a lovely sensation.
PAIRING: Best served with meat oily fish, poultry, pork, and vegetarian dishes.

ALCOHOL: 13.5%
