Discover More About Our Products

The dream of Anne-Cécile Rozier, owner of Château Des Arras, located north of Bordeaux, was to create a white wine with character by blending three of the area's most typical white varieties. She took Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Sémillon in equal amounts and succeeded in creating an intense wine whose bouquet is a veritable explosion of fruity sensations.

And why this name? In Greek mythology, Gaïa is the goddess of the earth. Before planting the vines, it was necessary to find the most suitable soil for each of the three white grape varieties that make up the blend. In the end, the dry soil with limestone rock on the surface located in the south-west of the property was chosen. Last but not least, Gaïa is also the name of Anne-Cécile's dog, which appears on the label. A small tribute to a great companion of adventures!
