“We didn't enjoy this wine, sadly, as there seemed to be quite a strong chemical taste reminiscent of carbolic. However the rest of the first bottle did make a delicious coq au vin, so perhaps it was at the wrong temperature or needed more time to breathe. I gave the second bottle to my son to take to a party, and apparently he was too drunk to remember what it tasted like when opened! ”
