TASTING NOTES:

View: ruby red, middle layer.
Nose: tremendous nose, red berries, smoky, blackberry, plum, snuff, balsam, intensity and elegance in equal measure.
Mouth: good volumn, silky, long, tannins still polishing.

APPELLATION: Bolgheri Sassicaia.

VINEYARD: gravel soils of the Tyrrhenian coast, terroir directly comparable to the best soils of the Médoc.

GRAPES: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc 15%.

WINE PAIRING: pasta with meat sauce, roast lamb, braised meats game.

The border colour was almost brown. Deep scent, like coffee.It was light.
A red that pairs well with moussaka.
