The 2016 Bolgheri Sassicaia is a wine of soaring achievement. Scoring 100 Parker points, Bolgheri Sassicaia's 2016 vintage is a true showstopper. This wine is chiselled and sharp with blackberry, ripe cherry, grilled herb and barbecue spice. The aromas flow from the glass in a continuous stream and are all marked by radiant intensity. The mouthfeel is long and powerful. The crisp linearity of the wine's tannic backbone is perfectly measured to the volume and depth of the fruit flavours. A true benchmark for Italian red wines.

Reviews of Sassicaia 2016
Strong, concentrated, with sweet and balanced tannins on the palate. Very long finish with very important organoleptic and poliphenolic aspects, which will ensure to this wine an extraordinary longevity.
Tenuta San Guido Bolgheri Sassicaia 2013
Nice red Bordeaux colour. Smells like red tea. Fleshy, smoothy.
