Poggio al Tesoro Cassiopea Bolgheri 2019 (Cabernet Franc and Merlot)

- Nose: The nose delicate and floral aroma is perceived, with aromas of peonies, fresh cherries, citrus and red berries.

APPELLATION: DOC Bolgheri.
GRAPES: Cabernet Franc 70%, Merlot 30%.
AGEING: Aging on lees for a few months in steel tanks.
PREPARATION: Obtained from grapes Cabernet Franc and Merlot, hand harvested in early September. The soft press of the whole berries is followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine is aged with fine lees and ages one month in the bottle before being put on the market.
WINE PAIRING: Perfect as an aperitif, goes well with bruschetta, fish dishes, light meats and creamy cheeses. Company recommended a good pizza Margherita.
