Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Scalabrone Bolgheri Rosato 2018 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah)

TASTING NOTES:

View: bright pink peony.
Nose: intense and rich, pleasant notes of red fruits, especially cherry, delicate herbs.
Mouth: fresh, tasty, persistent and elegant, with fruity aromas.

APPELLATION: Bolgheri.

VINEYARD: Name: Villa Guado al Tasso, about 80 km southwest of Florence.

GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Merlot 30%, Syrah 30%.

PREPARATION: short maceration on the skins of red berries to give the typical pink color and aromas. Traditional vinification in stainless steel containers temperature controlled.

WINE PAIRING: sushi, sashimi, snacks, tartar fish, fish paste with white, fish and shellfish steamed.

TEMPERATURE: 10-12 °C

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.5%

Intensiv rosa med ljusa reflektioner. Doft av mullbär och björnbär. Det verkade vara som vatten.

I was impressed by its colour. Antinori Guado al Tasso Scalabrone Bolgheri smelled like wild strawberries.It reminded me of black plums.
I love to pair it with cheese pizza.
It's a rosé I like to drink when I'm alone.
