TASTING NOTES:

  • View: dark ruby ​​red glitter.
  • Nose: Complex aromas among which red fruits like cherry, with a spicy background and certain notes of plum with almonds.
  • Mouth: deep taste, with flavors that cling to what is perceived in the aromas. balanced sweetness with acidity, with a long and vibrant end.

APPELLATION: Blogheri Superiore.

VINEYARD: Argentiera.

GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc.

AGEING: It is aged in French oak barrels.

PREPARATION: The grapes are manually selected with great care, cold. Fall by gravity into the tanks and, thus, are collected. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks for at least one month, with temperatures between 28-30 °C. Then it obtained is carried French oak barrels, where it should stay about 18 months. Once past the allotted time has to be another year in the bottle before entering the market.
