Sassicaia Double Magnum 2005 (Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon)

TASTING NOTES:

View: Ruby red color with purple hues.
Nose: intense, sweet and fresh notes of ripe red fruits, sweet black fruits, wild flowers, oak, snuff, herbs, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and red berries.
Mouth: fine taste, complex and good acidity, soft tannins on the palate and light notes of red fruits. It has sour cherries and smoky notes, snuff, licorice and oak.

APPELLATION: Bolgheri Sassicaia (Tuscany, Italy).

VINEYARD: Tenuta San Guido.

GRAPES: Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Fantastic berry aromas. It is a fleshy wine from Tenuta San Guido.

The border colour was almost brown. Deep scent, like coffee.It was light.
A red that pairs well with moussaka.
