Description of Sassicaia 375ml 2015
Sassicaia 375ml 2015 (Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon)
TASTING NOTES **Sassicaia 375ml 2015 :
- View: intense ruby red.
- Nose: plum and fine leathers, mineral notes river stone, smoked.
- Mouth: Structured, serious, smart, warm, fruity, final mineral notes.
APPELLATION: Bolgueri Sassicaia.
GRAPES: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc 15%.
AGEING: 24 months in French oak barrels.
PROCESSING: soft pressing of grapes and successive fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of between 30 and 31 °C, without yeast. Maceration between 9 and 12 days and successive pumping and delestage wort. Malolactic in stainless steel.
PAIRING: game dishes.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%**
