You will like to know that…
Sassicaia is one of the most famous Italian wines in the world. A Supertuscan, born in 1944 from the idea of Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, who had the idea of planting in Tuscany typical Bordeaux vines, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The Sassicaia 2014 comes from a year that is not particularly favourable from the climatic point of view, characterized by a cold and rainy climate. Nevertheless, the Tenuta San Guido has managed to produce a superb and elegant wine, with fruity and fresh notes, excellent to combine with dishes based on game.

More about the WineryReviews of Sassicaia 2014
Strong, concentrated, with sweet and balanced tannins on the palate. Very long finish with very important organoleptic and poliphenolic aspects, which will ensure to this wine an extraordinary longevity.
Tenuta San Guido Bolgheri Sassicaia 2013
Not worth the cost, however. Absolutely not good value for money. With that money you can buy other wines. Price is right for me 60 euro.
Twinkling cherry colour. Aromas of walnuts and hazelnuts. I noticed some good roughness in the mouth.
I am convinced that any meat will suit.
