Sassicaia 2014 (Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon)
Tasting Notes:
- View: deep ruby red.
- Nose: sweet and ripe red fruits (blueberries, blackcurrant, cassis) and Mediterranean herbs such as laurel, juniper and myrtle.
- Mouth: powerful, concentrated, ripe red fruit aromas of chocolate, vanilla, quinine and fern. Elegant and exquisite balance with fine tannins.
APPELLATION: Bolgheri.
WINERY: Tenuta San Guido.
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
PAIRING: game dishes, especially wild boar.
