You will like to know that…
After a very early malolactic fermentation, the 24 months aging in French oak barrels started towards the end of November. After this period, the wine spent 6 more months in bottles before being put on the market, obtaining, as a result, a wine acclaimed by critics and that, since 1968 (the year that it officially came out for sale), has pleased demanding palates and even, aristocratic ones, so much so that it is well accepted always with a welcome worthy of a Premier Cru de Bordeaux.

More about the WineryReviews of Sassicaia 2003
Strong, concentrated, with sweet and balanced tannins on the palate. Very long finish with very important organoleptic and poliphenolic aspects, which will ensure to this wine an extraordinary longevity.
Tenuta San Guido Bolgheri Sassicaia 2013
Not worth the cost, however. Absolutely not good value for money. With that money you can buy other wines. Price is right for me 60 euro.
This wine is of a very attractive cherry colour. Fantastic berry aromas. The 2003 taste was evident in the mouth.
