Penne pasta with salmon and vodka

Originally from Russia, vodka is the most consumed alcohol in the world. And with good reason, it is the basis of many cocktails. Great star in mixology, vodka is also useful in cooking. The proof, this recipe for pasta with salmon and vodka!


500 g penne pasta
4 small slices of smoked salmon
1 400 g can of tomato pulp
15 cl light liquid cream
10 cl of vodka
2 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of olive oil


Mince the garlic, put two tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, add the garlic and brown for a few moments.

Add the tomato pulp and simmer for about 10 minutes.

Thinly slice the salmon.

Start heating the water for the pasta and add salt.

Pour the vodka into the tomato sauce, then the cream, increase the heat slightly to reduce it a little. Add a little salt and pepper.

Throw the pasta into the boiling water and cook it for the time indicated on the packet so that it is al dente.

In the meantime, add the minced smoked salmon to the sauce.

Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
