4. Planet Hoth

What better cocktail to encapsulate Planet Hoth, the world of snow and ice, than a blue frozen margarita?

  • 45ml blue curaçao
  • 60 ml tequila
  • 15ml triple sec
  • 15ml fresh lime juice
  • Handful of Ice (about enough to fill the glass you’re using)
  • Salt for the rim

  1. Make your salt rim by making a small incision in half a lime and running it around the outside rim of the margarita glass. Then roll the outer edge of the rim in the salt until coated evenly.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  3. Blend on the highest setting until completely smooth.
  4. Garnish with a lime or lemon wheel. Serve immediately so it doesn’t melt!

Top Tips:

  • To make your drink as cold as Hoth, store them in the freezer!
  • Using pre-crushed ice will be quicker and easier.
  • Add the ice last and little by little. You don’t want to overdo it and have a watery margarita.

5. Darth Vader

This black martini is as dark as Darth Vader’s heart and is simple to make and surprisingly fruity.

  1. Chill your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes beforehand.
  2. Pour all the liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well.
  3. Pour into your chilled martini glass and garnish with your fruit of choice: orange peel, blackberry, black cherry…
